Abstract

The purpose of this report is to present a detailed description of the preprocessing procedures currently used in the reduction of electronic data from geodetic satellites. The preprocessing procedures described are those used by the various agencies as of 1 January, 1968. This report also presents a general, non-technical description of the four major electronic satellite tracking methods currently used for geodetic purposes.
