Abstract
Intensities, half-widths and shapes of rotational lines in the $\nu_{3}$ fundamental of methane have been measured at several temperatures between $150^{\circ} K$ and $295^{\circ} K$ . Data on half-widths in self-broadening and in broadening by $H_{2}$, $N_{2}$ and He, are compared with the theoretical results of Tejwani. Temperature dependence of line and band intensities, and of half-widths in all of the cases of broadening, is discussed.
