Abstract

This is the minutes of the Council on Academic Affairs' meeting on July 22, 2009. Daniel A. Mendelsohn and W. Randy Smith (the Chair and Vice Chair, respectively) gave comments regarding relevant updates. Professors Lawrence Baum, Neeli Bendapudi, and Kathryn Corl presented the proposal to revise the Spanish major. Professors Jay Hobgood, Michael Ibba, and Robert Ward presented the proposal to establish a specialized Masters in Business degree program. Professors Daniel A. Mendelsohn and W. Randy Smith presented the proposals to create a new Music Media and Enterprise minor, and to create a new Quantitative Methods in Consumer Behavior GIS. W. Randy Smith and Timothy Gerber led the Semesters Update.
