Abstract

The time-correlation functions of CH1 and CD1 in the pure liquid phase and in solution in the noble gases, have been computed. It will be shown that in order to obtain reliable results the spectra have to be recorded with extreme care. The results are interpreted from a microscopic viewpoint and are related to the degree of freedom to rotation.
