Abstract

A computer controlled CARS spectrometer has been developed for continuous scanning in the ultraviolet region of the spectrum. Using angle tuned frequency doubling crystals the UV range below 360 nm (260-360 nm) can be continuously scanned. The problem of beam displacement with angle tuning has been solved and coherent anti-stokes Raman spectra can be readily obtained in minutes. Resonance enhancement in this region now possible end representative spectra will be presented.
