Knowledge Bank

The $2\leftarrow 0$ vibration-rotation bands of $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">12</mrow>}C32S$ and $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">12</mrow>}C34S$ have been measured with a high resolution spectrometer. The band centers are, respectively, 2531.35316 $\pm$ 0.00070 and $2511.2892\pm 0.0030$ $cm-1$. Improved rotational constants have been determined for both molecules. By combining the microwave, infrared and ultraviolet measurements of the $X1\Sigma +$ state of $\mathrm{<mrow\; data-mjx-texclass="ORD">12</mrow>}C32S$, a consistent set of Dunham coefficients has been calculated.
