Abstract
The infrared spectra of solid and gaseous 3,3-difluoro-oxetane and the Raman spectra of solid, liquid, and gaseous 3,3-difluoro-oxetane have been recorded. By means of Raman depolarization data and infrared band contours for the gas, a complete vibrational assignment is made in terms of the $C_{2v}$ planar species. Relative intensities of the vibrationally excited state lines were used to deduce the puckering vibrational frequency.
