Abstract

Microwave spectra of three isotopic species of difluorosilane, $SiH_{2}F_{2}$, have been up to J=50 for the ground vibrational state. The spectra have been analysed to give ground state rotational constants along with quartic, sextic and octic centrifugal distortion contants. The quartic distortion constants were used to obtain valence force contstants for the heavy atom vibrations and the results are compared to values obtained from similar data for related molecules.
