File No. 200 and 940 (Division of Reclamation) acid pond, Karas farm, along U.S. 224 near Atwater in Portage County. Mined by Keller Mines, Inc., in 1950-1951. Seeded in April 1953, to 4 pounds birdsfoot, 2 pounds alsike, 4 pounds L. sericea, 2 pounds redtop, 2 pounds orchard grass, 2 pounds timothy, 4 pound Kentucky fescue. No lime or fertilizer used.
