Abstract
The one-and two-photon fluorescence excitation spectra of 3- and 5-methylindole will be presented. The effect of methyl torsional level on the two-photon contour, the appearance of one quantum transitions in out of plane modes and the effect of torsional level symmetry on dynamics will be discussed.
