Abstract
The purpose of the Successful Co-Parenting: A Family Stability Program is to familiarize parents with information, skills, and techniques to minimize the negative effects of separation and divorce on children and to promote positive adjustment during the divorce process.
Description
IMPACT. 1: Increase participants' knowledge of how divorce impacts the child and techniques for fostering healthy adjustment. -- 2. Increase knowledge of positive communication skills and strategies for managing conflict between co-parents. -- 3. Decrease the number of child maltreatment referrals from Job and Family Services related to divorce conflicts.
