Abstract

The high resolution infrared study of monodeuterated ethylene, $C_{2}H_{3}D$ has been undertaken, and has resulted so far in a precise determination of its fundamental state parameters, according to an asymmetric top model. Several absorption bands, both fundamental and combination ones, have been analyzed, revealing a large number of Fermi and Coriolis resonances. The detailed investigation of the $\nu_{12}$, an A-type fundamental band at $1400.75 cm^{-1}$ and of the $\nu_{2} + \nu_{9}$, a B-type combination band at $4700.628$ $cm^{-1}$, from which about 600 combination differences have been obtained, will he presented and discussed.
