Abstract

Doppler-broadened FM line profile of nascent photoproducts have been measured for everal photodissociation systems, We describe methods required for the quantitative analysis of the FM line shapes to give velocity and rotational polarization information. Correlated state distribution and velocity-depended vector correlations can be extracted with relative ease from a set of high-quality line shapes.
