Abstract

Forrest Brandt first came to OSU in 1961. Because of finances and serving in Vietnam, Forrest Brandt did not graduate until December of 1971. In the interview, Mr. Brandt describes his first impressions of campus, his stint in the military during the Vietnam War, his work as a journalist, and his return to campus at the height of the student riots. Mr. Brandt also discusses the changes he encountered between his freshman year and his final quarters. Mr. Brandt went on to work in education for more than 30 years in other parts of the state, but his love of Ohio State football has always managed to bring him back to campus.
