Abstract

Tables are given to compute the normal gravity on the surface of spheroids of the following parameters: 297.0 < l/α < 298.5 (at 0.1 interval); 6 378 000 m < a < 6 378 300 m (at 100 m interval); 978.040 gal < γE < 978.049 gal; where α is the flattening of the spheroid, a is the major semi axis of the spheroid, γE is the normal gravity on the equator.
