Abstract

Data regarding weak lensing extracts information from large-scale structures in the Universe about parameters influencing the evolution of large-scale structures and the geometry of the Universe. Preserving as much of this information as possible is important when attempting to test models of the Universe. Phenomena such as active galactic nuclei (AGNs) have a substantial impact on small scales, making these data points unmodelable. This project focused on a more optimized way of removing these small-scale data points to preserve as much information as possible.
