Abstract

Preliminary floristic and ecologic studies of bryophytes were initiated in the vicinity of Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Comparisons among different habitats indicated bryofloristic differences with respect to an apparent moisture gradient. A provisional check list consisting of 81 taxa is provided.
