Description

Large "Geographical Position Finder" produced by the National Geographic Society, consisting of maps of the northern and southern hemispheres drawn on polar azimuthal equi-distant projection, upon which are rotating maps of the celestial hemispheres on clear acrylic disks and rotating clear acrylic 24-hour time disks, used by John Glenn to study the constellations during his NASA Project Mercury training in 1960-1962.
