Abstract

This paper is a proposal for the addition of a green roof to the North Residential District Transformation (NRDT) plans. In it the types, possible benefits, and drawbacks of green roofs are explored, and three frameworks proposed for a design of a green roof to add to the current (as of April 2013) NRDT plans.
