Abstract

The far-infrared absorption spectrum of hydrogen sulfide has been examined in the 130−12cm−1 region using the O.S.U. interferometric modulation spectrometer. The improved performance of the spectrometer recently equipped with a liquid helium temperature bolometer will be illustrated. The improved agreement of the observed spectrum with the calculated spectrum obtained using the molecular constants from recent near infrared data1 will be shown.
