Abstract
The vibrational spectrum of methanetellurol will be presented and discussed. The infrared spectra were obtained for the spectral region between 4000 and $33 cm^{-1}$. The corresponding Raman shifts were also recorded and qualitative depolarization values were measured for most lines. A complete vibrational analysis has been made utilizing isotopic substitution, force field calculations and correlations with similar sulfur and selenium molecules.
