Abstract

The emission spectrum of the nitrogen molecule has been reinvestigated in the region 900 to 1200\AA. In this region there are many unidentified bands. In the first order of a 21-foot vacuum spectrograph several of these bands show well resolved rotational fine structure. The results of the rotational analyses and the probable band origins for some of these bands will be discussed.
