Abstract

The discovery of a partial skeleton of a mastodon on the Boudinot Seeley farm, Austinburg Township, Ashtabula Co., Ohio, in 1878, is reviewed as a possible Paleo-Indian kill site. Early accounts, particularly that by Stephen D. Peet, are suggestive but remain inconclusive.
