Abstract

The $5_{\mu}m$ region of the absorption spectrum of $^{13}CD_{3}F$ has+ been Interpreted and analyzed in detail. The principle observed bands are $\nu_{4}, 2\nu_{2}, 2\nu_{5}(l=0)$ and $\nu_{1}$ with $\nu_{2} + \nu_{5}, \nu_{2} + \nu_{3}, \nu_{3} + \nu_{5} + 2\nu_{5}(l = \pm 2)$ interactions. A detailed discussion of the distribution of $\nu_{1}$. band intensity due to various local and global Interactions will be presented.
