Abstract
The $A^{2}\Pi - X^{2}\Sigma^{+}$ transitions of CaOH and SrOH and the $B^{2}\Sigma^{+} - X^{2}\Sigma^{+}$ transition of CaOH were rotationally analyzed by Doppler-limited laser excitation spectroscopy with narrow-band fluorescence detection. The major constants are (in $cm^{-1}$, one $\sigma$ uncertanties): To Bo Do $\gamma$o Po Ao CaOH $B^{2}\Sigma^{+} 18022.268(1) 0.339409(10) 3.707(100)\times 10^{-7} -0.043615(46) - - A^{2}\Pi 15998.128(1) 0.341428(8) 3.919(27) \times 10^{-7} - -0.043615(46) 66.795(1) X^{2}\Sigma^{+} 0.0 0.334354(8) 3.869(24)\times 10^{-7} 0.00111 SrOH A^{2}\Pi 14674.338(1) 0.253889(3) 2.176(4)$$10^{-7} - -0.143186(36) 263.515(1) X^{2}\Sigma^{+} 0.0 0.249209(3) 2.182(3)$$10^{-7} 0.002433(5) - -$ The CaOH and SrOH spectra have many similarities to those of the isolectronic CaF and SrF molecules.
