Abstract

If the theory of molecular fine structure is extended to include the spin-rotation interaction, then the spin-orbit and spin-other-orbit coupling constants should be modified to account for this relatively smaller effect. We have modified some of the expressions for spin-rotation constants of homonuclear diatomics so that they may be more easily computed. Our computed values are discussed and compared with previous $results.^{1,2}$
