Abstract

The microwave spectrum of the van der Waals dimer $ArCH_{3}CN$ has been observed using a pulsed-nozzle Fourier transform microwave spectrometer. The $^{14}N$ nuclear hyperfine structure has been analyzed in the ground $(m=0)$ and excited $(m=1)$ internal rotor states. Spectroscopic constants for the $m=0$ state, in megahertz, are [FIGURE] The structure is T-shaped, with a center of mass separation of 3.43 \AA.
