Abstract

Computer aided calculations, based on experimentally derived pairwise interaction constants, give the entire Brillouin zone exciton band profile. The Frenkel exciton model, with steeply falling-off interactions, is $used.^{1}$ Results will be discussed, with special emphasis on the out-of-plane infrared active $(a_{2n})$ normal mode of Benzene, where the experimental data and the justification for the model have been quoted $previously.^{2}$
