Presenters: Karen Tinsley (Associate Director of Research, Housing and Demographics Research Center, The University of Georgia), Tom Rodgers (Professor of Housing and Consumer Economics, The University of Georgia). Abstract: The University of Georgia Housing and Demographics Research Center will share its community-university collaborative model to enable the City of Moultrie and the surrounding community to increase the supply of workforce housing. The research methodology and outreach strategy will be described, with attention given to discussion of the network of collaborating programs and partners and how they are involved. Attendees will be engaged in discussion of the similarities and differences in this approach to engagement scholarship to other disciplines and fields.
