Abstract

Recently, the laser excitation spectrum of benzoic acid dimer [(C6H5COOH)2] cooled in a supersonic expansion has been reported by McVey%^{1}$ and by Ito2. We have reinvestigated the spectrum of this hydrogen bonded dimer as part of our investigations of hydrogen bonded complexes. Our results will be presented and compared with those of McVey and Ito.
