Abstract
The visible emission spectrum of ``TiO'' produced using a microwave powered discharge source is known to contain several unassigned molecular bonds (1). Several of these bands have been assigned to the $f^{1}\Delta - a^{1}\Delta$ transition of TiO first reported by Linton (1) and the A-X transition of $TiO_{2}$ first reported by McIntyre et al. (2). The vibrational analysis of each transition was undertaken and vibrational constants have been established for each. These results are also used to help explain the unassigned laser induced photoluminescence bands of ``TiO'' reported by Linton and Broida (3).
