IR vapor phase spectra of phenol taken with a 10-cm cell at temperatures of over $l00\circ$ C are compared with earlier spectra obtained from long-path cells at or near room temperature, and with more recent gas phase Raman spectra recorded with $Ar+$ laser equipment at about $80\circ$ C. New details observed in both spectra will be discussed briefly.
