Abstract

Molecular constants of the ground state of $14_{N}16_{O}$ have been obtained by combining data from a number of sources. We have included absorption data in the microwave and fundamental (1-0)$^{*}$ infrared regions together with emission data in the overtone (2-0) infrared region and data from the $\beta$ electronic band system in the 2300-5300 {\AA} region. These data include values of v from 0 to 16 and values of J up to 77.5. The results from the least squares fits to the individual ``bands” have been combined using the correlated least squares technique described by Albritton, et. al.,$^{1}$ to obtain the best set of constants.
