Abstract

The infrared spectrum of (HCC)2CO has been measured from 35 to 4000cm−1 for the solid at about 100K and for the gas. Raman spectra with polarizations were obtained for the liquid. C2v symmetry was assumed, and permitted a satisfactory interpretation of the data. Frequencies have been assigned to 15 of the 18 spectroscopically active fundamentals.
