Abstract

We have coupled a high resolution cw dye laser with a molecular beam electric resonance spectrometer. The dye laser is feedback loop stabilized to the side of the transmission window of a Fabry-Perot interferometer. The stabilized laser linewidth is 1 MHz. Transitions between a3ΠΩ=2 and d3ΔiΩ=3 of carbonmonoide have been observed. Measurements of the Stark effect in the Ω=3 component of the d3Δi state are in progress and will be reported.
