Abstract

We have coupled a high resolution cw dye laser with a molecular beam electric resonance spectrometer. The dye laser is feedback loop stabilized to the side of the transmission window of a Fabry-Perot interferometer. The stabilized laser linewidth is $\leq$ 1 MHz. Transitions between $a^{3}\Pi \Omega = 2$ and $d^{3}\Delta i \Omega = 3$ of carbonmonoide have been observed. Measurements of the Stark effect in the $\Omega = 3$ component of the $d^{3}\Delta_{i}$ state are in progress and will be reported.
