Abstract

Last year at this meeting we reported our preliminary results for the torsional-rotational spectra of $CH_{2}DSH$ and $CHD_{2}SH$. At the current meeting we will report additional data for $CH_{2}DSH$ and the results of our analysis. The Hamiltonian for the analysis of the spectroscopic data for the three substates or the torsional ground state has the form \begin{eqnarray*} H_{\sigma}\qquad&=&\qquad A_{\sigma} P_{z}^{2}+B_{\sigma} P_{y}^{2}+\beta_{\sigma} J(J+1)K^{2}+\gamma_{\sigma} j^{2}(J+1)^{2}+\varepsilon_{\sigma} \\ {}^{H}c_{1},o_{1}&=&Q^{\prime} P_{z}+D^{\prime}(P_{x}P_{y}+P_{y}P_{x})+E^{\prime}(P_{x}P_{z}+P_{z}P_{x}) .\end{eqnarray*} The spectroscopic coefficients as determined by a least squares fit are [FIGURE]
