Abstract

In her talk at the Mershon Center , Schissler examined the relationship between Islam and nationalism in the minds of the Turkic intellectuals in the Ottoman Empire at the turn of the 20 th century and focused on the perspective of a Muslim émigré from the Russian Empire, Ahmet Agaoglu.
