dc.description.abstractA weak sequence of lines in the Raman spectrum of tetrahydrofuran vapor around 260 $cm^{-1}$ has been observed for the first time and is assigned to sum and difference transitions between the pseudorotational-radial states of the five-membered ring. With the aid of these lines an interpretation for the complex infra-red band in the same region is suggested.en_US
