STATIC AND DYNAMIC INTERACTIONS IN THE HIGH RESOLUTION ELECTRONIC SPECTRUM OF NO AND CO TRAPPED IN MATRICES
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
High resolution investigations (0.014 \AA in the range $2000-1500$ \AA) of the quasi-linear spectra observed with NO and CO in Ne or Ar matrices provide useful information about various types of interactions of the molecule with the host crystal. Features observed are discussed in term of static interactions (shifts, experimental deperturbations, inequivalent Interactions in the site) as well as dynamic interactions (phonon and libration structures).
