Norway spruce plantation which had grown tall and spindly as shown in Photo No. 5656 was topped and sheared in February, 1956. Response to drastic topping and shearing is shown in this photo which was taken in December, 1957. Note dense, well formed trees. Scale - Robert Dush. Item #5760
