dc.description.abstract | The $\nu_{9} + \nu_{12}$ and $\nu_{3} + \nu_{6}$ combination bands of ethane have been recorded under high resolution using the UTMSL five-meter Littrow instrument. The $\nu_{9} + \nu_{12}$ band was assigned fairly completely. The resolution in the R side of the Q-regions of the spectra provides data for deriving ground state parameters from combination differences. Strong Coriolis-type perturbations are evident in this band. The $\nu_{3} + \nu_{6}$ band appeared only slightly perturbed in line intensity, but perturbed drastically in each J-group. The updated qualitative or quantitative results will be discussed. | en_US |
