ANALYSIS OF THE $\nu_{1}$, AND $\nu_{1} + \nu_{2} -\nu_{1}$ INFRARED BANDS OF $SO_{2}$ FROM TUNABLE DIODE LASER SPECTRUM
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
An ultra-high resolution spectrum of the $\nu_{1}$, band of $SO_{2}$, recorded at the NASA Langley Research Center, was analyzed. It is shown chat an accurate calibration of such a spectrum can be achieved. The ""hot"" band $(\nu_{1} + \nu_{2})$ - $\nu_{2}$ was identified for the first time; the value of $3.2506 \pm 0.0010 cm^{-1}$ was obtained for $(\nu_{1} + \nu_{2}) - \nu_{2} -\nu_{1}.$
