dc.description.abstract | A theory is presented to explain the source of asymmetry in the Raman scattering tensor of normal modes in degenerate electronic states of molecules. Using the above formalism, the vibrational Raman spectra and the depolarization ratios are discussed for some sandwich compounds with electronically degenerate ground states. | en_US |
