COMPARISON OF MEASURED AND COMPUTED SPECTRA OF AIR SAMPLES
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
Air spectra with path lengths from 10 m to 1 km together with solar spectra have been obtained between $700 cm^{-1}$ and $2600 cm^{-1}$ using Fourier transform spectroscopy with a nominal resolution of $0.125 ~cm^{-1}$. These have been compared with synthetic spectra calculated by using the AFCRL line $listing.^{1}$ The agreement between the spectra and the use of this technique to estimate abundances of atmospheric gases is discussed.
