A computer-controlled Hewlett-Packard microwave spectrometer has been used to record the lineshapes of OCS and $CH_{3}OH$ transitions at several pressures in the microwave region. The widths of the $J = 1 \rightarrow 2$ transitions in $^{18}OCS$, $O^{13}CS$, $OC^{34}S$, OCS ($v_{2} = 2$), and OCS ($v_{3} = 1$) have been compared to the width of the ground state transition of the parent under identical conditions. The widths of the M components of the $J = 3 \rightarrow 2, K = 1 \rightarrow 0$, E level transition to $CH_{3}OH$ have been measured in a parallel plate absorption cell. The linewidth of the $J = 4 \rightarrow 3, K = 0 \rightarrow 1$, E level transition in $CH_{3}OH$ has been determined both in absorption and dispersion.
