Dr. Steven Gabbe discusses his medical career, which culminated in his role as CEO of Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center. Gabbe, who began his tenure as CEO in 2008, supervised the construction of the new James Cancer Hospital and the installation of the Epic electronic health record system. A specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, Gabbe and his wife, Dr. Patricia Gabbe, are both retired and devote much of their time to their involvement in Moms2Be, a program that works to reduce infant mortality in at-risk communities.
