dc.description.abstract$^{15}$$NCS^{-}$ has been isolated in NaI, KI, RbI, and CsI using the alkali halide pressed disk technique and an in situ reaction between $^{15}NH_{4}^{+}$ and $CS^{2-}_{3}$. The Infrared spectra of the samples have been obtained from $10^{\circ}$ to $31^{\circ} K$. The anharmonic force field of $NCS^{-}$ has been determined using a simplified quartic force field.en_US
