dc.description.abstractA simple test has been carried out to determine if deconvolution beyond diffraction limits is possible. A spectrum is recorded using the full 41 cm of the grating. Then part of the grating is masked off and the spectrum re-recorded using the same instrumental parameters, a response function is calculated and the deconvolution results are compared to the higher resolution spectrum.en_US
