ENERGY TRANSFER IN THE CO A $^{1} \Pi$ STATE
Publisher:
Ohio State UniversityAbstract:
An atomic oxygen line has been used to pump CO to the A $^{1} \Pi , v^{\prime} = 9$ level. The quenching, vibrational relaxation, and electronic energy transfer are discussed in terms of similar work in the NO A $^{2}\Sigma^{+}$ $state.^{1}$
