dc.description.abstractIn the context of a semester long senior thesis this project began with research and partnering with a community of local firefighters to explore opportunities to implement design thinking and rapid prototyping in finding an innovative solution to problems they faced with current equipment. This process identified the need, and the many opportunities, to improve on the standard pike pole specifically.en_US
